Last month I wrote about easy ways to save work. This month I would like to tell you about work-free exercises, and stress-free decision tips.
Tip #1: Park far away! Or walk if you can. Most people look for the closest parking spot. You’d be surprised how much organic exercise we get by NOT doing things like this. We can take the stairs, walk around instead of through, reach way up instead of getting a stool, deliberately put things where we have to get up to get them. Set the clothes basket on the floor and stand while folding. Each item you pick up can be a bending and stretching exercise, or squats. See? Free workouts!
See how creative you can get. We all need movement for our health, and the easier we can get it, the better. Better health, better environment! This also creates time for more fun things!
Tip#2: Don’t buy a corner property! If you want peace and quiet, lights and stop signs are the noisiest places from all roads. Trust me, I know! I lived in the middle of a street, and visited a friend who lived on a corner… I never got any sleep! Some people have to screech when they take off, squeal brakes to stop, and rev their engines while they’re waiting. Think loud stereos, and transport trucks with their brakes and horns. Don’t believe me? Sit in a corner sometime and just listen. Make wise decisions!
Tip #3: Keep the toilet lid down! Who wants to lose or pick out wet stuff? Gross! If you do this, you won’t have to, and nothing will get ruined, or need washed. Think of getting ready to go somewhere… It’s especially not a good way to start the day. Save time, and nerves!
Bonus: Spray a mist of cool water on you when you’re hot. Putting mint in it makes it even cooler. Mint essential oil makes your skin smooth. Mint leaves work also, and bugs don’t like the smell. Win! Win!
Just as easy as this red squirrel stole my empty peanut butter jar, we too can steal time, and make life better by doing our homework, and being proactive. ☺
